From the south of Korea
Growing up in Korea, there was one truth we all knew: the best food in the country comes from the south, a region we simply call Namdo. The rich and deep flavors of Jeollanam-do, a province long known as the heart of Korean gastronomy, were more than just food — they were our culture itself. This truth is the foundation of everything we do.
Our restaurant, NAMDO, is a tribute to this heritage. In Korean, Namdo (남도) means "the southern province," and it's a name synonymous with the country's most delicious food. We've taken the authentic tastes of southern Korea and given them a modern bistro twist. Every dish is crafted to share the warmth and richness of our culture with you, right here in Brooklyn. This isn't just a meal; it's our story on a plate.
